One Dress Three Ways

In an effort to get the most out of my clothes, I try to think of at least three different ways to wear an item before I purchase it. It’s my own little ‘rule of 3.’ Some items can be stretched into even more variations, like this black dress. I’m sure you’ll see more ways to style it in the future as it is such a great staple, but for now, here’s three different ways to wear it.

As we head into fall, olive green is trending. This vest easily pairs over the dress with a camel-colored crossbody bag and white Chuck Taylors! You could also pair this outfit with booties for an equally cute look.

This dress was easily transitioned into a business professional look. I just added a blazer, roomier handbag, and black pumps, and tah-dah! Easy workwear!

For my final look, I added some chunky gold jewelry, bright cage heels, a clutch, and a leopard scarf, which is good to cover your arms for when the temps start to get cooler after dark. I also added a smoky eye with winged liner.

To be honest, I had a hard time narrowing down to just these three looks! I could also wear this dress with a pair of over the knee high boots and a slouchy sweater for cooler temps, or throw on a belted tunic. The possibilities really are endless!

How else would you wear this dress?
