Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive Review

I received a complimentary stay at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive, but all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Sometimes it’s hard to leave town for a vacation (and expensive!), so that’s one of the reasons I love living in Orlando- there are so many great places to have a staycation! Chris and I recently stayed at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive for a couple of nights and had a lovely time! I have a special rate just for my followers at the end of this post too!

The Convenience of Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive

The Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is located within walking distance to Icon Park, which includes restaurants such as Sugar Factory, Uncle Julio’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Shake Shack, and Yardhouse, amongst many more; the Wheel, a 400 foot high ferris wheel with panoramic views of the city, the StarFlyer, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Orlando Aquarium, and more; and live music at Tin Roof; as well as shopping. We took full advantage of staying so close to all of these attractions and restaurants and never had to drive anywhere the whole weekend! Major plus in my book, as traffic can be quite frustrating!

Amenities

We stayed in a king-size room at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. The property is large, and has lush, beautiful landscaping throughout. They have two pools and a hot tub in the middle of the property. On our last morning at the resort, it was about 52 degrees out, so we took advantage of soaking in the hot tub and it was so nice!

Dining Options

The Wyndham also has some dining options on site. Gatorville restaurant serves brunch, lunch, dinner, and late night pizza in a cute setting. The brunch buffet is only $12 and includes a ton of options, including omelets made-to-order, bacon, sausage, fruit, smoothies, potatoes, cereal, pastries, and more. I fast until noon, but Chris took advantage of the unlimited brunch and ate basically everything! He didn’t need to eat again until dinner! One of my favorite restaurants and wine bar, Cooper’s Hawk, is also located on site if you were looking for a more upscale dining option. The Wyndham also has a lobby bar that serves coffee in the morning.
