About 30 miles northwest of downtown Orlando lies the small town of Mount Dora. Although it is close to home, I had never been there until last weekend, when some other bloggers and I met there for lunch and pictures. All I knew of Mount Dora was that they have a great farmer’s market and large antique market. One of my blogger friends lives there, so she invited us all there for an afternoon. I’m so glad she did! It’s an adorable, quaint town, with a ton of great photo ops!

We started the afternoon with mimosas and lunch at Pisces Rising restaurant, and then walked over to the lighthouse, situated on a gorgeous lake.

I chose to wear a bright Lilly Pulitzer wrap dress for the day. It was perfect for the location, as Mount Dora has bright, colorful buildings all over, including this huge teal chair.

And yes, fall is technically right around the corner, but it’s still 90 degrees out here in Florida. Until it dips below 80, I’ll continue rocking my summer looks!
