What I Bought From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

We still have a few more days left of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (it ends on August 30th). I finally received all my packages and am so happy with everything I ordered this year! I didn’t go crazy this year with purchases, and instead focused on basics that would last years.

A lot of items sold out quickly during the sale, but most of what I purchased is still available in all or some sizes. Here’s what a bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with sizing details. For reference, I am 5’9″ and a size 14.

What I Bought:

This Leith Long Cardigan is soft and cozy and runs big. This pink color is available in limited sizes, but it also comes in black, oatmeal, and grey. I am wearing the size small for reference, but could have done a medium. Size down one or two for a more streamlined look.

The Zella Live-In High Waist leggings are a favorite of mine! I actually bought these 2 years ago and have been wearing them often since. You can wear them for working out or going out depending on your top and shoes! I am wearing the size large and they fit true to size.

Everything I’m wearing here is from the NSale! This faux leather moto jacket might be my favorite purchase! It also comes in black and runs true to size. I’m in the size XL.

This snakeskin print top is so soft! It also comes in a leopard print. It is getting limited in sizes. Size up for a less fitted look. I am wearing size XL.

My jeans are the Kut from the Kloth Donna Ankle Skinny and they are stretchy and comfortable! I also like the high waist. I am wearing the size 14.

These booties were my most anticipated purchase! I love the way they look, although this color is nearly sold out. They also come in black and snakeskin in all sizes. I’d recommend sizing up a half size as the toe runs narrow. I am undecided about these because they are snug and they don’t make a 10.5! I am going to see if I can break them in because they are gorgeous!

While this denim jacket is only available in limited sizes, it is a good one! The collar is detachable so it can be worn year round. It is an oversized fit so you can size down. I’m wearing the large.

This sweatshirt-like blazer is a mainstay in my wardrobe! I bought this two years ago and it’s still in great condition. Sizes are limited but keep checking back if they don’t have your size. It is a staple on the Nordstrom website and will be back! I’m wearing the large.

Two other items that I ordered are the Spanx OnCore Mid Thigh Shaper Shorts, and this throw blanket. The Spanx shorts are great for under dresses and skirts and they smooth everything out. I wear a large.

The throw blanket is seriously the softest blanket I’ve ever owned! And it’s only $24.90! I ordered two colors!
